Paleo Cashew Cheese Sauce

Ingredients:
- 1 cup raw cashews, soaked for 4 hours or overnight
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Water, as needed to adjust consistency
Instructions:
Drain and rinse the soaked cashews
In a high-speed blender, combine the cashews, nutritional yeast, almond milk, lemon juice, minced garlic, onion powder, sea salt, and black pepper
Blend on high until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy
You may need to scrape down the sides and add a little water as needed to achieve the desired consistency
