Air Fryer Chocolate Souffles
Ingredients:
- 4 oz 115g dark chocolate
- 1/4 cup 60ml milk
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1/4 cup 50g granulated sugar
- 2 large egg whites
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions:
Get your air fryer ready by heating it up to 350F 175C
You can melt the dark chocolate and milk together in 30 second intervals in a bowl that can go in the microwave
Stir the mixture until it is smooth
Allow it to cool a bit
In a different bowl, mix the egg yolks, sugar, and vanilla extract with a whisk until everything is well blended
Slowly add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg yolk mixture while whisking all the time
Put the egg whites and a pinch of salt in a different clean bowl
Use an electric mixer to beat them until stiff peaks form
Mix the egg whites into the chocolate mixture slowly until they are fully combined
Coat four ramekins with cooking spray and sprinkle them with powdered sugar
Put some chocolate goodness into each ramekin
Once the air fryer basket is hot, put the souffles in the ramekins that have been filled
Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the souffles have risen and are set in the middle
Carefully take the souffles out of the air fryer
If you want, sprinkle them with more powdered sugar and serve them right away
They need to be light, fluffy, and soft in the middle
