Cauliflower Rice
Cauliflower rice can be used in many ways and is low in carbs, which makes it great for people on the keto diet. With this easy recipe, you can turn a head of cauliflower into a fluffy, light rice substitute that goes well with many different kinds of food. Salt, pepper, and olive oil or butter are added to the cauliflower rice, and it is then sauted until it is soft and slightly golden brown. Ingredients:
- 1 medium head cauliflower
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Take the cauliflower head apart and remove the leaves and core
Then, cut it into florets
Pulse the cauliflower florets in a food processor in small amounts at a time until they look like rice grains
In a big skillet over medium-low heat, warm up the butter or olive oil
Add the cauliflower rice to the pan and cook, stirring every now and then, for 5 to 7 minutes, until its soft and a little golden brown
Add salt and pepper to taste to the cauliflower rice, then take it off the heat
