Vegan Homemade Nutella
With this vegan and gluten-free Nutella recipe, you can treat yourself without feeling bad about it. A rich spread made from creamy hazelnuts, cocoa powder, maple syrup, and a hint of vanilla. Its great on toast, fruit, or just by spoon.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups hazelnuts, roasted
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 175F 350C
Place hazelnuts on a baking sheet and roast them for 10 to 12 minutes, or until they smell good
Put the roasted hazelnuts on a clean kitchen towel and rub them to get the skins off
If you have a food processor, blend the hazelnuts until they are smooth
Melt the coconut oil and add the vanilla extract, salt, and cocoa powder
Mix everything together until its smooth
Put the homemade Nutella in a clean jar or other container that wont let air in
