Baked Broccoli Bacon Cheddar Chicken Breasts
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
Instructions:
Set the oven temperature to 375F 190C
Garlic powder, paprika, thyme, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper are used to season the chicken breasts
Evenly coat the chicken on both sides with the seasonings
Cook the bacon slices in a skillet until they become crispy
After taking them out of the skillet and allowing them to cool, crumble them into small pieces
Add the olive oil to the same skillet and saut the broccoli florets for 34 minutes, or until they are tender
Add a dash of pepper and salt for seasoning
Put the chicken breasts with seasoning in a baking dish
Place some crumbled bacon and sauted broccoli on top of each chicken breast
Over the chicken breasts, equally distribute the shredded cheddar cheese
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in a preheated oven, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling and the chicken is thoroughly cooked
Before serving, take it out of the oven and give it some time to rest
