Iced Cold Brew Coffee
This Easy Cold Brew Coffee recipe is a simple way to make a smooth and refreshing iced coffee at home. Its perfect for hot summer days or anytime you crave a chilled caffeine boost.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup coarsely ground coffee beans
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Optional: sweetener, milk, or flavored syrups
Instructions:
Put the coarsely ground coffee beans and cold water in a large jar or pitcher
Make sure all the coffee grounds are wet by stirring them around a lot
Put the jar or pitcher in the fridge with the lid on for 12 to 24 hours so the cold brew can steep
The stronger the brew, the longer you let it steep
To get rid of the grounds, strain the cold brew coffee through a fine-mesh sieve or a coffee filter after letting it steep
Cold brew coffee should be served over ice cubes
If you want, you can add milk, sugar, or flavoring syrups
